Product Spotlight ::: HALLOWEEN KITS (all three!)
Tuesday, October 26, 2010
Hi everyone, SP here :o) Today, we are bringing you a special HALLOWEEN edition of our PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT! We thought it would be fun to feature all three of our HALLOWEEN kits :o) So, they are ALL THREE on SALE this week (25% off)! My first Halloween themed kit was SMELL MY FEET (still adore that name, lolol)…then came BOO…followed this year by GOOSE BUMPS! I really love all three kits and find that you can mix and match them together quite well (i think you’ll see that illustrated in some of the inspiration layouts below)!
When it comes to designing halloween kits – I always have one thing in mind….and that is FUN! I like to keep the kits cute and whimsical and not creepy or scary, lol! So, you’ll find that each kit has a little touch of whimsy and silly-ness! I really try to keep any of our themed kits as versatile as possible, too! I know I have said it many times, but when you purchase a kit…I like for you to be able to use it (or at least parts of it) for everyday pages, too – over and over! NOT just one page and that’s it, know what I mean? So, you’ll find that I add in lots of items that will work for any page :o) This also helps you to be able to combine the kits together!
Alright…so, how about some BRAND NEW inspiration! The girls have been busy working with all three kits for a couple of weeks! Please visit the SHABBY ARTIST GALLERY to find out more about each individual page. Even though I ‘loosely’ grouped them by kits…keep in mind that many of the layouts combine more than one of our Halloween kits (just visit the gallery and you can find that information on the individual layout posts)!
Wow, that’s a lot of layouts, lol! LOOOOVE them all (thanks, girls)! I hope we have either inspired you to scrap some of your halloween photos from years past…OR…gotten you excited about scrapping this year’s halloween pics soon! Thanks a bunch for visiting the blog…I’ll be back here tomorrow with a new feature titled GALLERY GIRLS :o)

This post was so much fun! Love all three kits!!! Especially all the little stickers and rub-ons – soooo cute!!! And even though my family and I don’t really do anything for Halloween, I still had heaps of fun and a few pics to scrap with the kits – because they are really good for the everyday, too!! Thanks SP!! :o)

I have all three of these kits and have LOVED working with them. They inspire me with great ideas. Thanks for creating them.
SP–do you think that your team and you could develop some baby kits. I know you already have some but I would love to work with something new. I would especially be interested in some add ons–you know storks, and other graphics that you would use on a typical baby album. I think I own just about every kit that you have made and I would def. buy one more geared towards babies. Okay. Enough said. Love your work. Can’t wait to see what else you come up with for me to spend money on. ;)

thank you so much for your comment and for your kind words, ali :o) and oh my, i promise…new baby kits are totally on my list…it’s just that it is a very long list these days, lol! i have wanted to work on new baby kits for a couple of years now and it just hasn’t worked out YET. it seems like i go from one seasonal kit/product to the next and there is never a moment in between for much else, lol! but, hoping 2011 will be a productive year with some of these kits i have been wanting to design! wish i could be more definite, lol…i just ‘hate’ to make promises (just because i do not want to disappoint) lol!
THANKS AGAIN, Ali…you are so sweet!
