Product Spotlight ~ the Bella Collection

Hello everyone! It’s Kylie and I’m here with this week’s completely wonderful Product Spotlight.

It’s the BELLA Collection!

The kit is on sale in the Shabby Shoppe this week for only $5.50 (that is a 31% saving!)

At first look it’s obvious – one of the prettiest girl kits ever! :o)  This oh-so-cute kit is just bursting at the seams with shabby loveliness. I love all the papers. There is a selection of 14 (yes, that’s right I said fourteen) papers that you can mix and match to your hearts desire – floral, polka-dot, plaid, toile, stripes, the all important neutrals! Some are classic, some ornate, some whimsical and others are just plain fun! But all are cheerful and full of sunshine! And same goes for all the beautiful little embellishments. I’m having a real battle with deciding my favorite piece – I think the little paper birdies come out on top! But then again, I do have a soft spot for the delicate garden borders and the gingham bows. Pretty!! :o)

Here is the layout I created with some of my favorites.

Now, let’s take a second look at this kit and see its versatility! Like all Shabby Princess kits there is always potential to scrap a page for anyone and anything. So let’s scrap a boy layout with this super girlie kit. No problem!! ;o)

See – girl free zone! Everything on the page is from the Bella Collection, except I just had to add some sweet little car and plane digital stickers from the Hodge Podge collection “Things That Go”. They went with my title and are way too CUTE not to use! (Plus the fact that I can very rarely use just the one kit for a layout.)  But really, I could have left them off the page and still achieved my ‘bella’ (or rather, bello) boy look. BONUS time: along with the Bella Collection being discounted this week, Things That Go is also on SALE this week! YAY! You can pick up these cute little digi stickers for just $1.68!

Here’s a preview of the beautiful ‘Bella’ creations that will soon be popping up in the Gallery from our very own Shabby Artists.

Have a HAPPY TUESDAY and see you all back here tomorrow for some Shoppe tips and tricks! :o)

This was my first purchased kit – I just love it for little girls, especially.

I bought this kit to use for my twins 2nd year album. I really like the hybrid card presentation. Any chance you can tell me what printer you use or one you recommend?

      Hi Jennifer!

Denise uses a “Canon MP600 (Full photolithography inkjet, Noozle engineering) and Staples Photo Supreme double-sided matte paper, 61 lb”. For printing cards, Denise recommends you use a good inkjet printer that doesn’t create lines on sample prints.

Thanks for asking and I hope this helps! :o)

Kylie, I absolutely adore the girl page you made with this kit. I’ve owned Bella since it was originally released. I need to go back and scraplift your gorgeous design and make a layout for one of my granddaughters. Precious!

PS. I didn’t even know the stickers existed. I’ll go take a look at them.
