Product Spotlight ~ Olivia (and NEW products)

Hey guys :o)  SP here…and I’m taking over Kylie’s post for JUST A MINUTE!  Wanted to let you know about a couple of new products in the Shoppe…this is just a little mini post…you can find more about these new products, along with lots of inspiration in our latest NEWSLETTER!  Of course, visit the Shabby Artist’s gallery for more layouts, too!

Thanks SP! Before I begin this week’s product spotlight, let me just say “I can’t get enough of those Darling Papers – I’m totally obsessed with all those delicious colors, polka-dots & damasks! And, I love, love, LurVE the sparkling new SANDBOX summer additions! How much FUN can a digi-scrapper possibly have?!” :o)

 Now, let’s turn back the clock and go Shabby Shoppe-ing vintage-style! This week I’m shining the spotlight on the always wonderful, forever timeless, OLIVIA Collection.  And, for this week the kit will be marked down to $5.50 – that’s a 31% savings (SP increased the saving a little this week, for this lovely kit)!

I’ve recently spotted some eye-catching layouts in the Shabby Shoppe gallery crafted with Olivia Collection pieces. I’m somewhat embarrassed about not discovering this kit before then and now I’m wondering how I ever did without it!! :o) The papers are amazing – richly textured and gloriously patterned – a real designer fabric treasure trove! There are all the elements one needs, and then some, to inspire countless precious layouts. There’s buttons, ric-rac galore, stitched circles and swirls, pretty gingham bows, paper flowers, dainty jewellery tags, photo prongs, beautiful sentiment stamps (the papers are definitely my favourite – but these dear words come a very close second!!), lovely lace overlays and ornate digi stamps. So many basic scrapping must-haves that, I’m happy to say, will coordinate with lots of other kits – a button here, a stitch there! Oh…the possibilities!

 Here is my first layout (first of many!) created with the Olivia Collection. (I really had to restrain myself from using everything in the kit! I know those of you that have this kit already are nodding in total agreement with this statement! – Hey Lu?! LOL!)
