It’s Kathy…back again for our Layout of the Week! I had so much fun perusing the gallery this week in search of my pick. With all of my birthday and quilting stuff, I haven’t had much chance to do that in the last few weeks, so it was real treat to get back at it!
I’m sure you can all guess how difficult it must be for us to choose just one layout. It is excrutiating, really…there are just so many great ones… and I’m not just saying that, take a look for yourself and see what amazing talent is in our SP community! I was really looking for something that spoke to me in some way, and my pick, mcmoran’s Fashion Victims of the 1970′s, made me laugh so hard.
I grew up in the 70′s, and have some of the same hilarious “fashion challenged” pics of my family. The captions with arrows pointing to each person, were not only humorous, but a great use of the elements in the new Hopscotch kit, on sale now for $5.95. I also love the blurry/aged look of the scanned in photo… it is PERFECT for this layout, in that it really gives a vintage/nostalgic feel to the page. Great job mcmoran, a $10 gift card to the Shabby Shoppe has been e-mailed to you! Enjoy!
Thanks to everyone who posted your layouts in the Shabby Princess gallery this week, it is always fun to see everyone’s unique style and personal stories. Have a fantabulous weekend!
