Hey everyone! Denise here to spotlight the Gabby kit, my favorite Shabby Princess kit. I absolutely LOVE the warm colors and the foliage. The colors are so versatile for Home and Hearth, everyday layouts and lovely vintage layouts. Those super cute birds are my favorites! I am so glad the Shabby Princess included a version of each bird without eyes, they are perfect for Hybrid cards and layouts. I’ll have some samples on how to add some fun wiggly eyes on Friday’s Hybrid post. ;)
Here are some sample layouts from the fabulous Shabby Shoppe teams-
I hope we inspired you with the versatility of the Gabby kit and for this week you can pick it up on sale for $5.21.
As summer approaches, our family has been looking for fun, inexpensive activities for the kids. Last year we borrowed Grandma’s tent and spent the night in our backyard. You can see our dog guarding the tent from skunks above right, lol. Leave a post of your favorite summer activity, or post a layout!
Happy scrapping & enjoy those early days of summer! :)

I love this kit, I have used it so many times for scrapping and for cards.
I, unlike others, actually love summer, and I live in Florida LOL! I love yard work but my favorite activity is swimming in the pool with my grandkids. In fact, three of them are spending the night with me tonight. We had a nice swim this evening and will go back in tomorrow afternoon.

Gabby is sooo versatile for all kinds of layouts. I LOVE this kit! Great layouts, girls.
Favorite summer activity has to be gardening – I just love planting those little seeds or seedlings and getting a bounty of fresh veggies. We also love to go to the Farmer’s Market on Saturdays. Sometimes we ride our bikes there and back as a family – about 10 miles round trip.

I love everyone’s pages! I this one of my favorite kits, too. Terrific post Denise. My favorite summer activity is eating ice cream. (But I love it in the winter, too, lol)

Would I sound like a scrooge if I said I HATE SUMMER?! It’s already sooooo hot here, LOL! I will say that our fun summer moments are when we go to the pool! just this year the kids both are TOTALLY into it – Piper can actually swim and she’s at that age where she makes a new friend at the pool every time we go! Lawson LOVES it, too – jumps in over and over again! And I love to make a little picnic lunch – nothing like Kylie’s gourmet feast, LOL! just sandwiches and juice and other snacks because everyone gets so hungry after swimming! ;o)

Favorite summer activity – picnic’s in the park with a bottle of wine, crusty bread, lots of cheese and sweet, juicy strawberries, and a good book!

oh, I totally forgot to leave my “fav” summer activity…but then again, I’m like Beckie- summer is not my favorite season! lol! it’s a sauna & my hair (and makeup if I happen to wear it, which is rarely) never looks good! But enough whining, what I DO like about it is sleeping in! “Summertime & the livin’ is easy…” as the song goes.
