WELCOME! We are so excited to share our new (and much improved) blog with you! We have been super busy working behind the scenes to bring you lots of great content that is sure to inspire, motivate and challenge you. We have a wonderful team of blog contributors who have lined up all kinds of fun stuff for the coming weeks (and months)! So…check back often as you won’t want to miss anything!
We will be selecting our favorite LAYOUT OF THE WEEK (LOTW) from the Shabby Shoppe’s gallery (once a week) and posting it here for all to see! The LOTW winner will receive a $10 gift card to the Shabby Shoppe (so be sure your email address is valid at the Shoppe’s gallery). Our first winner be selected and announced next Saturday, May 9th! So, be sure to post your best layouts featuring SP products in our new gallery!
We will also soon be posting a template challenge (look for it on May 6th)…we will share an adorable template with you (and a piece-a-cake page to go with it)! We are so looking forward to that! Our sweet Nicole will be hosting the first challenge and we can’t wait! There will be a new template challenge each month – complete with a $25 Shabby Shoppe gift card to the ‘winner’! More information to come soon!
Again, we hope you will all visit our new blog often as we also have some exciting guest interviews (that you do NOT want to miss) and lots of new sources of inspiration coming!
We’re also SUPER excited to say that the Shoppe’s inspiration gallery is back up and running…and better than ever. We have spent the last couple of weeks organizing, updating and upgrading the gallery and hope that you enjoy the new format and all of the inspiration found there. We have lots of new categories and a whole new look – we hope you enjoy it and find it truly inspiring!
I just have to tell you that I am so thrilled to introduce BECKIE…she has been a member of our shabby artist team for a while now…but has recently increased her involvement at the Shoppe and is now our Shoppe Director! She plays a huge role in leading our shabby artist team, manages the shoppe’s gallery and even keeps us organized and focused here at the blog! While she is mostly ‘behind the scenes’ – I really wanted to recognize her and let you know that she is hard at work to make the Shoppe a destination for scrappers.
And…before I forget – we have May’s free desktop for you (we also shared it at the ‘old’ blog…but wanted it here, too)! You can download either the 1024×768 (standard) version or the 1280×800 (widescreen) version below.
